Safety procedures for operators, helpers, and site managers working around STOMP skid steer loaders and compatible attachments.
Only trained operators should run the machine. Use appropriate PPE, read the machine warnings, understand the controls, and never allow passengers on the machine, attachment, bucket, forks, or loader arms.
Keep people outside the work zone and never swing, reverse, lift, drill, sweep, mow, or grapple near helpers unless there is a clear communication plan and the machine is stopped.
Identify underground utilities before auger, trencher, ripper, or digging work. Check overhead clearance before raising loader arms near doors, wires, trees, signs, shelves, and building structures.
Keep loads low, centered, and close to the machine. Do not exceed the machine or attachment rating, and avoid sudden travel, turning, or dumping movements with a raised load.
Before service, park level, lower the attachment to the ground, relieve hydraulic pressure, shut down, remove the key, and keep body parts away from pinch points and unsupported raised components.
If the machine loses steering, braking, lift control, or hydraulic containment, stop as safely as possible, lower the attachment, shut down, isolate the area, and contact support before restarting.
