Attachment Installation

Attachment fitment and installation guidance for Standard Series tools used with the TYPHON STOMP 509 and X1300, with Compact Series tools kept separate.

Confirm the attachment family

Use Standard Series attachments for the 509 and X1300 class. Compact Series tools for 501-507 machines are organized separately and should not be assumed to fit the 509/X1300 platform without confirmation.

Inspect before mounting

Check the attachment frame, mounting plate, lock-pin pockets, hydraulic hoses, couplers, cylinders, cutting edges, teeth, bristles, blades, and hardware before connecting it to the machine.

Mounting process

Park on level ground, align the mounting plate squarely, roll the plate into the attachment, fully seat the attachment, engage both lock pins, and visually confirm the pins pass through the attachment pockets.

Hydraulic connection

Relieve pressure, clean couplers, connect hoses fully, and route them away from pinch points, tires, tracks, hot surfaces, and areas that stretch when the loader arms lift or tilt.

First test cycle

Run the attachment at low throttle first. Check function direction, listen for abnormal noise, watch hose movement, inspect for leaks, and stop immediately if the attachment binds or chatters.

Common attachment checks

For augers, confirm bit security and underground utility clearance. For grapples, verify clamp movement. For forks, keep loads centered. For mowers or mulchers, clear bystanders and inspect blades before operation.
